APK and Data Size

The APK is around 41 MB; the bulk is OBB/game data (often 3–4 GB or more). Plan for at least 4–5 GB free before installing. Updates and cache can add more over time, so having 6 GB free is safer for GTA 5 Mobile long term.

Where Files Go

On Android, OBB files go in Android/obb/com.rockstargames.gta5/. Wrong placement causes install or launch issues—see our troubleshooting guide. On iOS, the app and data are managed by the system; ensure enough free space in Settings.

Freeing Space
